This position is part of the Quality organization and is responsible for inspecting incoming components used on all programs at Lockheed Martin Space.
In this role you will inspect incoming batches from suppliers, verify that the supplier met all requirements, perform visual inspections on parts, submit parts for Lab testing, and accept parts into stock.

Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma (Associate Degree preferred)
Familiarity with electronic and/or mechanical components
Ability to use calibrated inspection equipment to validate dimensions or features
Proficient with mechanical inspection tools such as caliper, micrometer, height gages, dial gages etc.
Applicant must be a US Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills: 3+ year experience performing quality inspections
Experience analyzing and interpreting engineering specifications and drawings
Knowledge of GD&T
LIMS
EDSS
SAP
Good communication and problem solving skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
