Job Title: Medical Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Employment Type: Full-Time 33 to 35 hr work week
Pay Range: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday 10am-4 pm; Tuesday 7:30/8am -5pm; Wednesday 10am-4 pm; Thursday 7:30/8 am -5 pm; Friday /Saturday alternating 7:30/8am -1:30 PM

We are a Boutique Ophthalmology and Aesthetic practice seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Medical Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a dual-role position that includes both front desk duties and administrative support for our provider. If you enjoy a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and have a passion for both medical and cosmetic services, we’d love to meet you!
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Front Desk Duties:
Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
Schedule and confirm appointments for both medical and aesthetic services
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
Verify insurance and collect payments
Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information
Keep the front office organized, clean, and welcoming
Administrative Support:
Assist the provider with clerical and scheduling tasks
Manage correspondence, emails, and patient follow-ups
Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and external communications
Prepare and maintain provider documentation and reports
Support marketing or patient outreach efforts as needed (e.g., aesthetic service promotions or appointment reminders)
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in a medical office; ophthalmology or aesthetics experience a plus
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
Professional demeanor and excellent communication abilities
Familiarity with EHR systems and Microsoft Office
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with attention to detail
