The role of the Content Creator-Instagram is essential to internal and external, client-facing Advertising and Marketing functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports team, meets deadlines, and assists the team with day-to-day operations of client Instagram accounts 
  • Develops and executes Instagram strategies that engage and grow
  • Assists with tasks that execute the creative plans and presentations on behalf of the agency 
  • Creates engaging content, optimizes company pages, and fosters community interaction.
  • Utilizes analytics to drive customer engagement, website traffic, and page growth.
  • Generates and publishes daily content, optimizing company pages on various platforms, moderating user-generated content, analyzing social data, and collaborating with clients and teams to manage reputation and coordinate actions.
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages to increase the visibility of the company’s social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Conduct research, as needed
  • Work with other team members to implement deliverables based on updates in marketing strategy, to increase knowledge of industries served by the company, dependent upon client focus
  • Embraces personal and professional development that promotes industry best practices
  • Owns projects end-to-end as assigned and overseen by managers
  • Keeps all digital assets organized and up to date with client's deliverables
  • Client report generation, analysis and management.


SKILLS/CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED

  • Trusted team member
  • Passion for marketing and excitement to collaborate in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred experience in Loomly, Canva, Clickup, HubSpot but not required
  • Willingness to increase knowledge of Instagram and other digital/social platforms
  • Exhibit a strong team mindset with an ability to work on cross-functional teams
  • Works proactively and volunteers assistance without being asked under tight schedules 
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal. Solution-oriented

  • Writing research and analytical skills
  • Knowledge and passion for the latest trends and platforms for desktop, social and mobile
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Programs and Outlook (electronic scheduling)
  • Commits to 5 days/20 hours work week sufficient to cover responsibilities to clients and teams. 


EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED

  • Bachelor's Degree – Digital Marketing, Communications or Other Related Degree
  • 2 years relevant work experience (including Internship and collegiate extracurriculars)
