Job Overview

Element Design Build LLC is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team based in Victor, NY. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity to lead the delivery of custom residential and commercial projects with exceptional craftsmanship, team coordination, and project execution.

In this leadership role, you'll oversee every phase of construction-from project scope and schedule development to budgeting, team leadership, and final closeout. You will work directly with clients, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Project Estimating, Planning, and Initiation
    • Define project scopes, objectives, budgets, and deliverables.
    • Develop detailed schedules and resource allocation plans.
    • Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
    • Obtain and vet estimates from subcontractors and vendors.
    • Manage permitting and licensing processes.
  • Project Execution and Control
    • Lead day-to-day construction operations and ensure alignment with project timelines.
    • Monitor budgets, allocate resources, and control costs.
    • Ensure accurate labor costing and category tracking.
    • Resolve issues, navigate challenges, and implement on-the-fly solutions.
  • Team Leadership and Communication
    • Supervise site supervisors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
    • Foster a collaborative, results-driven jobsite environment.
    • Maintain consistent communication with clients and stakeholders.
    • Provide leadership in daily site meetings and team updates.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain all contracts, change orders, and related documentation.
    • Deliver regular project reports to management and clients.
    • Ensure all compliance and safety documentation is up to date.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of permitting, scheduling, estimating, and site operations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
  • Skilled in interpreting technical documents, architectural drawings, and project specs.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License with clean driving record.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in high-performance homes or energy-efficient construction.
  • Background in passive house standards and building envelope science.
